Yes, these are ducks – ‘Muscovy’ ducks, apparently – a pair of them, male (L) and female. But, wouldn’t you think that this breed has some turkey in its genetic pool? Several of the creatures were wandering around the Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, and swimming in a beautiful pond behind the beach.
