Mediterranean Journey – 2011

Giant statues once adorned the public buildings of Corinth. I particularly like this one – depicting a young man looking tough, and mean, and ready for a fight. No doubt these figures were intended to flank the entrance to an important structure – a courthouse, perhaps? – and to put some fear into the hearts of the people as they went in.
